Place the refrigerator in a well-ventilated, humidity-free room. Ensure it is protected from direct sunlight and not placed near heat sources. Do not obstruct the rear fan grills. The compressor and condenser require good ventilation to operate correctly and save energy. Install the appliance on a level and rigid floor.
After transporting the appliance, carefully place it in an upright position and wait at least 3 hours before connecting it to the electricity mains. This ensures the appliance operates as it should.
Ensure the appliance is earthed and the plug is compliant with the law before inserting it into the electrical socket.
Before placing food inside, clean the inside of the refrigerator well using warm water and bicarbonate of soda.
The appliance comes with a motor protection control system that makes the compressor start approximately 8 minutes after being switched on.
Upon starting, the freezer compartment is set to a default value of -18°C. It is recommended to set the SUPER FREEZE function to accelerate the cooling process. Once the compartment reaches its optimal temperature, the function will deactivate, and food may be placed inside.
To change the temperature, press the - and + buttons on the display for the desired compartment. The refrigerator can be set between +8°C and +2°C, and the freezer can be set from -18°C to -26°C.
Activate the I-CARE function to automatically adjust the temperatures and minimize energy consumption. The HOLIDAY function sets the refrigerator to +12°C and the freezer to -18°C for optimal energy efficiency during extended periods away.
